Recypark continues preparations, receives positive EIA assessment and submits application for funding from the EU Innovation Fund
SMOLO announces that the Recypark project, focused on the processing of mixed municipal and similar waste — more than half of which is currently landfilled — has received a positive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). This step allows the project to proceed to the next phase of preparation, contributing to effective recycling and sustainability.

Revolutionary technology transforms municipal waste into new raw materials
A unique Recypark processing and manufacturing plant could be established in the area of Horní Benešov. The project will bring a breakthrough solution for municipal waste management to the Moravian-Silesian Region. The facility, equipped with globally unique technology by OMNI CT, will be able to transform 72,000 tons of previously unused waste annually into new raw materials demanded by the chemical and construction industries.
Project intent
To build a facility for the ecological transformation of mixed municipal solid waste and similar types of waste with a capacity of up to 100 kilotons/year on the territory of a brownfield for production of recycled materials and subsequent materials or energy recovery.
Location
The site for the implementation of the Recypark project is located in Horní Benešov in the Moravian-Silesian Region, within the premises of a landfill. more ⟶
