ECOLOGY
Our planet is facing increasingly severe environmental challenges as a result of human activity. Growing waste production, air pollution, and excessive dependence on fossil fuels are among the key issues that demand innovative and sustainable approaches.
One such approach is the implementation of the unique Recypark project.
Efficient Transformation of Municipal Waste into New Raw Materials
Thanks to unique technology, previously non-recoverable municipal and similar waste will be transformed into new raw materials that can be used in the chemical industry and construction sector. This approach avoids traditional landfilling or incineration of waste and instead promotes a circular economy in line with the principles of the waste management hierarchy.
Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 73% (113,819 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent per year)
This saving is based on a comparison with the current waste management method—landfilling, which contributes to 142,336 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent—and with methanol production from fossil fuels, which generates an additional 13,200 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent.
Reducing Dependence on Fossil Fuels
The new facility will convert syngas into methanol, significantly reducing reliance on fossil fuels and contributing to a more sustainable energy model.
Revitalization of a Brownfield Site
Recypark will be built on the site of former tailings ponds from the Jeseník ore mines, ensuring the effective reuse and revitalization of this historically burdened area.
