The zoning planned Recypark is located in Horní Benešov in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The site offers ideal conditions thanks to the long-term operation of a landfill, which has been active here since 1995.

Main Advantages of the Location:

• Planned Land Use: The zoning plan, approved in 2017, designated the area for the collection, sorting, storage, processing, disposal, and both energy and material recovery of waste. The construction of Recypark is therefore fully in line with the planned land use, ensuring long-term sustainability and compliance with local spatial development plans.

• Brownfield Revitalization: The site designated for the project was historically used as a tailings pond for the Jeseník ore mines. By using this area for Recypark, the site will be revitalized and given a new, beneficial function—thus contributing to the desirable redevelopment of a brownfield and transforming a historically burdened area into a sustainable and productive space.

• Transport Accessibility: From a transport perspective, the Recypark site is advantageously connected to the Horní Benešov bypass and the regional road network. This connection allows for smooth logistics operations without burdening residential areas with heavy traffic—an essential factor in minimizing negative impacts on local inhabitants and the environment.
